Blackout Multimedia aspires to be the premium web, print, and video commercial design studio in Atlanta. Mitch Soileau and Ben Pinson both bring a tremendous amount of technical expertise and design experience to the table. As Bachelor of Fine Arts degree graduates from the Savannah College of Art and Design Ben Pinson and Mitch Soileau both entered the job markets working in Atlanta and New York City respectively.

Mitch Soileau began as an intern at world famous portrait photographer, Joyce Tenneson’s, studio in New York City and quickly moved up to the production/ studio manager position within 4 months. During his time in New York Mitch was lucky enough to create 4 books with Tenneson that were published between 2002 and 2005 by Bulfinch Press. In addition to book production and design, Mitch was working in fast paced New York City creating websites and print ads for all of Joyce Tenneson’s work as well as teaching at the Maine Photographic Workshops and lecturing for Epson America.

Ben Pinson began working for various print companies in Chattanooga, TN. His career lead him to a Creative Director position in Atlanta, producing design, print, and media for large companies such as Shaw, GE, NAPA, Nioxin, and Club Car. As Ben honed his technical skills in the workforce for many years, he also worked as a freelance designer on projects all over the Southeast.

Mitch and Ben felt that their best opportunity was to work together to produce high quality web designs and multimedia projects for businesses of the future.
